Springer open publishing program for 2025 has been launched

The program was started with a pool of 1378 articles for 2025. The publisher does not provide for retroactivation of articles, only articles accepted for publication after the program was started will be included in the program.


The program allows authors affiliated with Polish academic institutions to publish open access articles in Springer hybrid journals. The program also includes 47 journals that have changed their model from hybrid to fully open access since 2022. The cost of publishing articles under the program (Article Processing Charge) is covered by Springer's national license fee from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
