Information services

Information services include:

• assistance in searching for literature on a given topic based on electronic and printed sources of information,
• providing information about the collections of the AGH University Main Library, faculty libraries, and other Polish and foreign libraries,
• preparing thematic lists of references for academic staff of AGH University and other universities – on request (price list of services, points 4 and 5),
• performing citation analyses of scientific publications on the basis of available databases – on request (price list of services, points 4 and 5),
• providing information related to the functioning of the AGH Database on Authors and Publications (BaDAP).

Services are carried out on the basis of the information workshop, which consists of printed collections (such as bibliographies, lexicons, dictionaries, reference books, statistical yearbooks) and electronic information resources (databases, e-journals, e-books).

Information services include:

• queries regarding standards and accompanying documents such as changes, or amendments to standards,
• providing information on cartographic collections and trade literature available in the AGH University Main Library,
• providing information on doctoral theses defended at AGH,
• information queries regarding patents, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks, and other objects of industrial property protection,
• assistance in conducting searches in patent databases,
• providing preliminary information on procedures before the Polish Patent Office.
