Open policy finder

Open policy finder (previously Sherpa Romeo) is an online resource that aggregates and analyses publisher open access policies from around the world and provides summaries of publisher copyright and open access archiving policies on a journal-by-journal basis.

Four colours are used to indicate publishers' strategies towards preprints and postprints:

• green - preprints, postprints and publisher's final versions can be archived,
• blue - postprints and publisher's final versions can be archived,
• yellow - preprints may be archived,
• white - archiving is not formally allowed by the publisher.

*preprint - original manuscript as submitted to the publisher prior to any changes being made as a result of the peer-review process,
*postprint - edited manuscript with peer-review comments integrated (Author Accepted Manuscript).
