Patent and standard documents in the AGH University Main Library have been collected since the inception of the Library. The collections include both the first Polish patent description from 1924 and the first Polish standard issued in 1925. Traditional print collections have an archival nature. Currently, patents and standards are primarily provided in electronic format, on-site or through publicly accessible databases.
