Integralia 2025 – awards for accessibility activities

On 7 April 2025, the main conference of the Krakow Integration Days took place under the theme "Dialogue on mental health - contemporary challenges". The event brought together academics, experts and those involved in building accessible and supportive spaces at universities. One of the key points of the programme was the presentation of the Integralia Awards - distinctions awarded to AGH University employees who, with their daily work and commitment, contribute to improving the conditions for people with disabilities in the academic community.

Dr Stanisław Skórka, Director of the AGH University Main Library, was recognised for his consistent efforts to ensure the accessibility of library resources and events organised by the AGH University Main Library. Thanks to his initiative, a Collection Digitisation Team has been established, which prepares teaching materials in forms adapted to the needs of the blind and visually impaired. Dr Skóra also places great emphasis on raising the awareness and competence of the library team in terms of accessibility, and provides support in the organisation of events, including through the presence of Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreters.
