AGH Libraries Catalogue

The AGH Libraries Catalogue information

The AGH Libraries Catalogue is a modern tool that allows users to search through various informational resources, including the library catalogue, electronic sources such as databases, e-journals, and e-books, as well as other digital sources like the AGH Repository, regardless of their format or location. The intuitive interface makes it easy to search the online catalogue, both for resources available in the Library and those from other libraries in Poland.

It is possible to filter and narrow down search results, which helps in finding specific items. Multisearch engine Primo enables direct access to the full text of articles when access has been purchased for the AGH community. Additionally, it offers several new features such as saving and personalizing search results, exporting bibliographic descriptions to a selected bibliography manager, and assigning custom labels to saved search descriptions.

Through a clear and user-friendly account, users can manage their loans and reservations online. The AGH Libraries Catalogue can be accessed from any device with internet access.

The AGH Library Catalogue includes the following collections available on-site:

  • books: all acquisitions since 1992,
  • books: selected acquisitions before 1992,
  • journals: complete collection,
  • old prints: complete collection,
  • doctoral dissertations defended at AGH: complete collection,
  • cartographic documents (atlases): complete collection,
  • cartographic documents (maps): all acquisitions since 2008, most series maps in complete sets,

  • foreign standards: selected collection,
  • electronic publications: complete collection,
  • technical-commercial literature: selected collection,
  • branch libriaries collections: selected collection.

The AGH Libraries Catalogue is the only source of information on books received by the Library after 1992. It is systematically supplemented with descriptions of books from previous years.
