Journals

All journals included in the Library's collection can be found in the AGH Libraries Catalogue.

Journals are available to read only in the Main Reading Room. Current issues of Polish and foreign magazines and daily newspapers are within easy reach there. 
Older issues should be ordered to the Main Reading Room. The ordered issues will be waiting in the Reading Room for 7 days from the moment the order is placed.

To request a journal for the Main Reading Room, log in and search for it in the AGH Libraries Catalogue. Then check the availability of the volumes you are looking for. If there is an ‘Request’ button next to a volume, click it. If the button is not available, please use the order form:

If you wish to use journals published between 1801 and 1945, specific access rules apply:

• you order them to the Main Reading Room, but you can only use them in the dedicated reading areas, Monday to Friday, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.,
• you may not photocopy them,
• you may photograph or scan them, provided this does not adversely affect the physical condition of the documents.

The technical condition of the returned copy is checked after each access.
