Fee regulations

Terms and conditions of the AGH University Libraries' electronic fee collection service

These Regulations are established pursuant to Article 8, paragraph 1, point 1, of the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1219, i.e. as amended).

Chapter 1
General stipulations

  1. The Regulations specify the procedure for accepting payments via Tpay - Krajowy Integrator Płatności S.A. with its registered office in Poznań, Plac Andersa 3, 17th floor, 61-894 Poznań - Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, 8th Department of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000412357, NIP 7773061579, REGON 300878437 with use of electronic banking.
  2. The service is organized by the Main Library of AGH University of Krakow (hereinafter referred to as the AGH University Main Library), which in this regard fulfills the agreement between: AGH University of Krakow with its registered office at Mickiewicza 30 Ave., 30-059 Kraków, having legal personality pursuant to Article 9 of the Act of 20 July 2018. - Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478, as amended), NIP 675 000 19 23, REGON 000001577;
    and
    Tpay Krajowy Integrator Płatności S.A.
  3. The fee collection service makes it possible to pay for library services and fees of a sanctioning nature in accordance with the price list.
  4. The Tpay fee collection service application allows fees to be transferred from the user's bank account by credit card, via online transfer, and Blik.

Chapter 2
Terms of use

  1. All AGH Libraries users holding a library account with an active e-mail address and a bank account with an active Internet channel are authorized to use the service.
  2. The technical prerequisite for using the services is an Internet connection and access to e-mail. The use of up-to-date versions of popular web browsers is recommended.
  3. Before using the service, users are required to familiarize themselves with the terms and conditions contained in these Regulations.
  4. Users agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions.

Chapter 3
Conclusion and termination of the agreement 

  1. Use of service results in conclusion of a service agreement for the use of electronic fee acceptance services with the AGH University Main Library.
  2. The agreement for the service is concluded after logging in to one's library account on the site: AGH Libraries Catalogue, once one accepts the Terms and Conditions on the “Charges for Library Services” page.
  3. The agreement is concluded for an indefinite period of time.
  4. Either party may terminate the agreement without cause after settling with the AGH Libraries for library materials and any charges.
  5. The user may withdraw from the agreement within 14 days from the date of its conclusion without giving any reason. The user loses the right to withdraw from the agreement when the Library performs the service in full.

Chapter 4
Acceptance of fees from authorised users

  1. Users authorised to make payments using electronic banking are directed by the service to the Tpay portal, where the payment is made.
  2. After the payment procedures are completed, the user will receive an e-mail confirmation to the provided e-mail address.
  3. Fees for overdue return of library materials will be removed when the transfer is accounted for by the Tpay application.
  4. If a user has overdue books on his/hers library account, payment of dues is possible after renewal or return of overdue books.
  5. Fees charged at different AGH Libraries can be paid in a single transaction.

Chapter 5
Complaints

  1. Users should report complaints related to the electronic banking service to the e-mail address: kontakt@bg.agh.edu.pl.
  2. A complaint must be submitted within 14 days, counting from the day on which the service was performed or was to be performed.
  3. The complaint will be processed within 14 days from the date of its submission to the e-mail address indicated in item. 1 e-mail address. If the complaint cannot be processed within this period, the Service Organizer will notify the user by e-mail about the reasons for the delay and the expected date for processing the complaint.
  4. The AGH University Main Library is not responsible for technical difficulties on the part of Tpay Krajowy Integrator Płatności S.A.

Chapter 6
Final regulations

  1. These Regulations are in effect as of Dec. 10, 2024.
  2. The applicable List of Regulations is available at: bg.agh.edu.pl/en/library-usage/regulations-price-list.
  3. The AGH University Main Library has the right to amend the terms of these Regulations or to introduce a new one.
  4. The AGH University Main Library will notify users of any changes in the terms of Regulations or the introduction of a new one by e-mail and by publishing them at: bg.agh.edu.pl/en/library-usage/regulations-price-list.
