OnePetro is a full-text database containing technical literature (currently more than 180,000 documents) related to petroleum geology, geophysics, geochemistry, gas and oil exploration, geoengineering, deposit engineering, oil and gas exploitation (including shale gas, tight gas, coal bed methane), oil and gas reserve estimation, environment protection, gas underground storage, oil and gas transportation, and issues relating to the processes of carbon dioxide geosequestration. The database is published by The Society of Petroleum Engineers.
