LibKey is a software toolkit provided by Third Iron, integrated with the Library's resources. It automatically recognizes whether an article is available through the university's subscription or in open access.
The subscribed package includes the following tools: LibKey Nomad, BrowZine, LibKey.io, and LibKey Discovery.
- LibKey Nomad – a plug-in for web browsers, providing quick and direct access to scientific articles, both subscribed to by the AGH University Main Library and in open access. It can be downloaded from the Third Iron website. After installation, select the institution – AGH University of Krakow.
- BrowZine – a platform for browsing journals by title, subject area, or ISSN. In addition, the platform allows for quick export of citations to tools such as Zotero or Mendeley (more information about BrowZine).
- LibKey.io – it links directly to full-text articles based on DOI (Digital Object Identifier) or PMID (PubMed ID). It also works from a mobile phone.
- LibKey Discovery – a linking tool integrated with the AGH Libraries Catalogue. It makes e-resources available with a single click.
