INIS database, developed by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), registers the world's literature on peaceful applications of nuclear science and technology, including topics such as nuclear engineering, nuclear safety, nuclear non-proliferation, the use of radioactive isotopes and radiation techniques in agriculture, medicine and industry.

In addition to book publications and journals, the database also records scientific materials that are more difficult to access - dissertations and reports.
