Bibliografia Geologiczna Polski includes publications in the field of geological sciences and selected items on related sciences, such as geography, soil science, mining, hydrology and environmental protection. It includes items published in Poland and abroad, but concerning Poland, or written by Polish authors and published abroad.
The bibliography records books, journals, atlases, conference materials. These include scientific, popular science and reference works, as well as reviews of Polish publications.
Searches in the database can be carried out by selecting from a drop-down list one of the sections: author, subject keywords or geographical keywords, and year.
Valuable information is the fact that each word from the above-mentioned sections is at the same time a link to search the database for records (bibliographic descriptions) with the number of records relating to the given entry in round brackets. The database is published by Państwowy Instytut Geologiczny.
