Entrance to the database

Scopus is the largest interdisciplinary abstract and citation database, created by Elsevier. It registers articles from over 40,000 peer-reviewed scientific journals, trade publications, conference materials, books and patent descriptions.

It also includes information about the number of citations and citing articles (since 1970) as well as h-index and other bibliometric indicators. The database is updated daily.

In addition, the Main Library has purchased a subscription to Scopus AI, a generative artificial intelligence tool integrated with the database.

Scopus AI uses natural language processing, machine learning algorithms and large language models to facilitate browsing and finding research results, verifying data and creating bibliographies.
