Entrance to the database

GeoRef, created by the American Geoscience Institute, records world literature in the field of geology and allied sciences. The database indexes articles from over 3,500 journals published in 40 languages, books, maps, conference proceedings, reports and dissertations. It contains over 4 mln records; more than 100,000 records are added annually. The database covers geology of North America since 1693, and geology of the rest of the world since 1933.
