Entrance to the database

EPO PATSTAT is a European Patent Office (EPO) database designed specifically for conducting advanced patent analyses.
Database includes bibliographic data and legal status information of patent documents.

  • Data from over 100 countries,
  • Raw data - intended solely for statistical analysis purposes,
  • IPC, CPC, FI, and F-term classification symbols,
  • Citations.

Users of the database are required to have a basic knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
