ASTM Compass is a service provided by ASTM International that allows access to the current and archival resources of several publisher collections.
The service includes:
- A complete set of ASTM standards: over 12,500 current standards, over 42,600 archival standards, and over 2,400 withdrawn standards.
- Full texts of eight ASTM journals ("Advances in Civil Engineering Materials," "Materials Performance and Characterization," "Geotechnical Testing Journal," "Journal of Testing and Evaluation," "Journal of ASTM International," "Journal of Cement, Concrete and Aggregates," "Journal of Composites Technology and Research," "Journal of Forensic Sciences").
- Publications from ASTM symposia (over 29,000 papers).
- Scientific books (1,550 titles, ranging from 1931).
Manuals and monographs (over 120 titles, ranging from 1965).
Access to the ASTM Compass database:
- access to database at compass.astm.org,
- access is possible after creating an account (requires an email address in the @agh.edu.pl or @student.agh.edu.pl domain).
How to create an account in the ASTM Compass database?
An account can be created on-site at the Library or remotely by a librarian. Simply provide us with the email address (in the agh domain) that you will use to log in to the ASTM database.
Self-registration at the Library (computer workstations in the Special Collections Department, Reference Department, or Circulation Department):
- Create an individual account by selecting "Sign In/Register" in the upper right corner,
- Fill out the form, be sure to enter the account address in the @agh.edu.pl or @student.agh.edu.pl domain,
- Leave the university name set to the default: AGH University of Science and Technology.
