E-sources and catalogues
From January 2016 AGH university employees, PhD students and students have access to subscribed e-sources from any place in the world, provided they have an active library account. *ATTENTION: It is possible to change the password. In order to change the password the user needs to log into his/her account in the Online Catalogue. A new password has to include at least 8 characters - letters and/or digits.
Access on the University intranet (without individual login) is possible on faculties which registered their IP ranges at the Main Library.
Users not being AGH employees or students can use e-sources in the Main Library reading rooms (provided licence terms allow it).
E-sources must be used according to the terms and conditions of licence agreements and copyright.
As stated in the licence agreements regarding the use of e-sources, it is forbidden to:
- enabling unauthorized users access to electronic resources by passing on one's login and password
- download texts automatically
- copy full issues of a given journal and full texts of books
- create local archives
- use the materials copied for commercial purposes. The number of articles downloaded during one session should correspond to the actual needs resulting from research and educational activities
Failure to meet these conditions can result in blocking the access not only to users violating the rules, but also to the whole university.
